Excellent park, and free. The ticks can be bad when in season. Just a side effect of so many deer I guess. Totally manageable with precaution. Use common sense and check yourself and your pets.
Excellent part close to D.C. The only negative was the female stalls were in poor condition. None of the stalls had locks and some didn't even have a door. Overall, nice place for a quick overnight stay.
This is a lovely place to visit and spend some time. It is peaceful & safe. Also this place is really good for morning and evening exercise, biking, hangout with family and friends.
Greenbelt park is a large & gergous park in Maryland. The dogwood trail is my favourite one. Don't forget bring GPS/google maps with you while tracking if you don't want to get lost, GPS works well here.
Very natural park. Camping spots small and cramped. When We visited few campers in our loop so cramping wasnt an issue for us. Lots of deer. We enjoyed. Couldn't believe it was so close to DC
